When you open an account at AcingCollege.com, the only piece of information we collect in is your email address. We need your email address so that we can be sure that a genuine and effective means of communication with the new customer exists. This information is used for the following purposes:

• To open, maintain and close an account with AcingCollege, and generally to administer all the services offered on the Site;

• To provide information related to services requested by customers;

Credit Cards: AcingCollege does not save credit card numbers or any of other information needed to process your credit card payment. Your credit card payment is processed by PayPal. Special Policy on Information Collection for Tutors.

To become a tutor at AcingCollege.com, you will need to submit an application containing personal information.   This information will be collected and reviewed by AcingCollege, and its respective employees or consultants, in order to evaluate your qualifications and experience for a freelance job opportunity with AcingCollege.  

If your application is accepted, AcingCollege will create a tutor profile about you containing the following information: 1) First and last name; 2) Name of school(s) where currently or previously enrolled; 3) Major(s) or area(s) of study; 4) Current enrollment status; 4) Awards; 5) Experience and/or work history; and 5) Any other information listed on your resume relating to your skills and capabilities as a tutor.   This information will be posted at AcingCollege.com.

AcingCollege will not disclose your address, phone number, email address, gender, or other personal information of this nature to any third party.    

Disclosure of Information.

We do not disclose any information to third parties, except to the extent necessary to perform our services. We may disclose information when legally compelled to do so, in other words, when we, in good faith, believe that the law requires it or for the protection of our legal rights.

Information Security.

An indication of how seriously we take privacy is that our system has been specifically designed so that only the management level has access to customer emails. Our internal messaging interface permits students and tutors to communicate without knowing each other's email addresses. Thus your identity is completely protected (unless you yourself choose to reveal it).
